Introduction to Self Defence

the changes in society and the crime sensitization is on the increase more and more people are looking for quick ways to make themselves safe. Even companies now pay respect to duty of care to their employees. The past year in the UK and around the world has seen the problems such as the credit crunch and global instability. This has a knock on effect with regards to crime and the production of violence. Now there are allot of people taking up Martial Arts and other forms of defence to try and give them some sort of empowerment over their lives and to fulfill a need for personal security knowledge. This is not always a good thing as most martial arts were and are now seen from a sporting application, which is no good for the streets of today.

Become a Self Defence Instructor

Our system does not just provide the physical defence knowledge to physically protect ones self on the street, but more over it gets the student to look at their belief systems and personal security on an everyday level as opposed to just one session per week. In some words we have been classed as Personal Security Life Coaches. We train our instructors to be fountains of knowledge with regards to personal security. Not only this, the revenue you can develop by teaching Personal Security can be full or part time. Most of your assessments will be of the practical application of the lessons taught and ongoing throughout the six days however, you will also be required to complete a number of written assignments.

 

What do you need to become an Instructor

You will need to attend the 3 day Intensive level 3 course (Click Here to learn more). Once you have attained the level 3, then you will eligible to enquire about the instructor program. You will undergo a personal or phone interview and be required to apply for the 10 day intensive instructors course.  You will then embark on the unique world of Modern Self Defence and Conflict Management instruction, where you will be constantly assessed on your ability to teach the unique system of RAID Self Defence.

 

On completion of the course you will be graded Merit, Pass or Referred. If you meet the Merit or Pass you will be graduated and certified an Instructor in RAID Self Defence and Conflict Management, however if you get referred, then you will have time to get the right knowledge up to the required level.

 

Once you have graduated you will be required to sign a formal licensee agreement which outlines the terms of instructorship.

 

Self Defence Qualifications you can gain

After completing the instructor course you will not only have a level 3 Instructors qualification but also a recognized teaching qualification from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and the Health and Safely First Aid at work.
